A problem and a solution
Baseball and softball coaches/parents have had their players hit and
throw balls into chain link backstops and fences for decades. Go to most
any field and look at the fence. It is bent!
Why do coaches and parents want to hit into chain link fence?
Because they want to engage in drills with close proximity.
Portable screens are expensive and have a frame so they are very
difficult to transport, requiring a truck to move or a large storage
facility close by.
The fact is that backstops and fences provide the most logical place to
practice. But (until now) you couldn’t do it without ruining the fence.
Thus you either are “in trouble” or feel guilty.
The result?
Ruined chain link
Unhappy parks and school officials
Expensive repair costs
The solution?
